Sono stati annunciati i giochi che concorreranno per i Game Awards 2014. L’evento si terrà a Las Vegas nell’AXIS Theater sito in Planet Hollywood , il 5 dicembre 2014. Le premiazioni saranno trasmette in diretta tramite PSN, Xbox Live, Wii U, Steam, Twitch, YouTube, Kotaku, IGN, GameSpot, Kotaku, Niconico e MLG. La maggior parte dei vincitori saranno scelti da una giuria composta da 28 persone appartenenti al mondo videoludico, mentre cinque categorie saranno premiate dai fan.
