Michael Condrey, co-fondatore di Sledgehammer Games, ha confermato tramite Twitter che Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare non arriverà su Nintendo Wii U. Condrey ha specificato che la scelta è stata presa dalla stessa Activision, che ha deciso di concertare i propri sforzi sulle versioni PlayStation 4, Xbox One e PC.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare sarà disponibile il 4 novembre 2014, anche su PlayStation 3 e Xbox 360.
