Un sequel dell’acclamato survival horror di Naughty Dog, The Last of Us, potrebbe essere in cantiere: il titolo viene infatti menzionato nel curriculum dell’ex capo character artist, Michael Knowland. Secondo il suo profilo LinkedIn, infatti, Naughty Dog avrebbe lavorato ai disegni prototipo di The Last of Us 2 all’inizio di quest’anno.
Knowland si era unito a Naughty Dog nel mese di ottobre 2011 e ha lavorato a The Last of Us, così come a Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Attualmente, è senior character artist presso Avalanche Studios e sta lavorando a Just Cause 3. Ha lasciato Naughty Dog lo scorso aprile.
Per quanto riguarda The Last of Us 2, il direttore artistico Neil Druckmann aveva dichiarato lo scorso febbraio che c’era il 50% delle possibilità che venisse prodotto un sequel del capolavoro post apocalittico. Per il momento sappiamo solo che Naughty Dog sta lavorando a due esperienze “nuove di zecca”, una delle quali è Uncharted 4, che uscirà il prossimo anno.
